Many of the people close to me have been noticing a drastic improvement in my skin. I wanted to share a follow up blog to my original skincare blog that I wrote a few years ago.
My skincare routine has changed a lot since my last post on this topic - only for the better.
I wash my face with Dove soap or any gentle cleanser - The key is that I only wash it ONCE a day. At night after I’ve removed my make up with coco oil from Organic to Green.
Before bed, I apply Vitamin E oil from the vitamin isle (NOT the beauty isle) to my face and allow it to soak into my skin over night. I’ve tried both ingestible vitamin E and the vitamin E sold by beauty brands. The ingestible Vitamin E is drastically better. By morning, my skin is moisturized, balanced and ready to go. I do not wash my face in the morning because I don’t want to strip away all of the benefits of the vitamin E or leave my skin over producing oils to make up for it.
It seems simple enough — and it is.
When I want an extra boost, I use Fruit Triple Brightening Daily Active Serum by [Re]Fresh Skin Therapy that has really helped bring my skin back to life after jobs that require lots of make up. I use it weeks in a row to get the full effect - typically with serums like this your skin has to go through one full renewal cycle.
